Social security in the client console

note

This page is generated from Dimmi product documentation used by in-product help. UI labels match the client console; some screens appear only when the matching module is enabled for your organisation.

When Social Security is enabled for your organisation, the sidebar shows social-security / global-mobility tools.

Overview

Social Security → Overview (also opened by clicking the Social Security section title) is the social-security case inbox with the same three segments as General → Overview, limited to certificate and cross-border journey cases: Dimmi is handling, Needs attention (default — cases that need your input, or certificates that are expiring soon or expired), and Completed (issued certificates that do not need attention). Selecting a segment shows a paginated list of matching applications. The organisation workforce map lives under General → Workforce (Map view). Start an application opens a dropdown of social-security types — including Business trip, Send someone to work abroad, A1, and S1 — then continues into that flow.

Cross-border journeys

Choose the journey that matches what the person will do abroad:

  • Business trip — meetings, conferences, or training with no productive work for a local host. Dimmi records travel and checks entry/visa needs. Host labour notification and A1 are usually not needed. You must confirm there is no local work before starting.
  • Send someone to work abroad — they will perform work in the host country. This typically starts an A1 certificate path and shows a preview of host labour notification and other obligations based on the host country and dates.

If a business trip turns into real work abroad, ask your Dimmi advisor to reclassify the journey.

Ongoing applications

Social Security → Ongoing applications lists in-progress A1/S1-style certificate applications and related cross-border journeys. Open a case for the tracker; start a business trip, work-abroad, or A1 flow when offered. Click the person’s name to open their employee profile instead.

Employees abroad

Social Security → Employees abroad lists people in the social-security / abroad domain. Columns include Location (where they are now / travel) and Based in (employing legal-entity headquarters city and country). Add person abroad asks for their name, email, and travel details (where they are, dates, and type), then optionally starts an A1 case with that person already selected. You can add the person and travel without starting a case. People also appear in General → Workforce.

Global monitoring

Social Security → Global monitoring is available when your organisation has an organisation plan that includes this feature (and Social Security / global mobility is enabled). It is the crisis / travel-advisory monitoring dashboard for international mobility. The map follows Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) advisory colours when available. Those colours matter for travel insurance: many Danish insurers cover green and yellow destinations as normal, while orange (avoid non-essential travel) and red (avoid all travel) often mean no cover — always check your organisation’s travel cover before people travel. Drill into events and affected people; click a person’s name in the abroad list to open their employee profile. Without an organisation plan that includes this feature, Global monitoring stays hidden in the sidebar.

Modules and Reports

Social-security Reports types under Admin → Reports only work when the matching workforce module is enabled. If a page says the module is off, ask your Dimmi contact or an admin to enable it.
